All external law firms on our panel have been chosen by us. By completing any form on our site you consent to being contacted by us and/or the panel law firm who has received your enquiry to discuss your matter further.

You are under no obligation to choose to use the services offered by our Panel Law Firms and are free to choose any other legal representation you feel best matches your individual needs.

Call Recording

By completing any form on our site and/or through any social media or other online advertising channel you consent to being contacted by us and/or the panel law firm who has received your enquiry to discuss your matter further by telephone or electronic methods.

Please note all our calls may be recorded for training purposes and to monitor customer service and regulatory compliance. We may also share such recordings with our Panel Law Firms for service and regulatory monitoring and you consent to such sharing by submitting any form on this site and/or through any social media or other online advertising channel.

The bases on which we process information about you

The law requires us to determine under which of six defined bases we process different categories of your personal information, and to notify you of the basis for each category.

If a basis on which we process your personal information is no longer relevant then we shall immediately stop processing your data.

If the basis changes then if required by law we shall notify you of the change and of any new basis under which we have determined that we can continue to process your information.

We will send you a written or electronic acknowledgement of a complaint within five business days of receipt, identifying the person who will be handling the complaint for the business. Wherever possible, that person will not have been directly involved in the matter which is the subject of the complaint, and will have authority to settle the complaint.

Within four weeks of receiving a complaint, we will send you either:

a) a final response which adequately addresses the complaint; or

b) a holding response, which explains why we are not yet in a position to resolve the complaint and indicates when we will make further contact with you.

With eight weeks of receiving a complaint we will send you either:

a) a final response which adequately addresses the complaint; or

b) a response which:

(i) explains why we are still not in a position to make a final response, giving reasons for the further delay and indicating when we expect to be able to provide a final response; and

(ii) informs you that you may refer the handling of the complaint to the Legal Ombudsman if you are dissatisfied with the delay.

Where we decide that redress is appropriate, we will provide you with fair compensation for any acts or omissions for which we are responsible and will comply with any offer of redress which you accept. Appropriate redress will not always involve financial redress.

In you are not satisfied with our response, or if a complaint is not resolved after eight weeks, you may refer the complaint to –
